Overview
The Wholesale Pricing module lets you offer different prices to business customers through a rule-based engine, with optional quantity tiers, minimum order quantities, and store-wide minimum order requirements. A Quick Order by SKU form is also included for fast bulk ordering.
Pricing Rules
Create rules under B2B Suite → Pricing Rules. Each rule has:
- Rule type —
role(applies to a customer role),user(applies to a specific customer), ortier(a quantity-based volume rule). - Discount type:
- Percentage — a percentage off the regular price
- Fixed amount — a flat amount off the regular price
- Fixed price — an absolute price that replaces the regular price
- Scope — apply to all products, specific products, or product categories.
- Priority — rules are evaluated in priority order; the matching rule with the highest priority wins.
Quantity Tier (Volume) Pricing
Enable Tier Pricing under Settings → Pricing to offer volume discounts — better prices at higher quantities. Tier rules render a volume-pricing table directly on the product page, including a “You Save” column that shows the discount percentage for each quantity break, so buyers can see exactly what they save by ordering more.
Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)
Enable MOQ under Settings → Pricing to enforce a per-product minimum order quantity. The product’s MOQ is stored in the prefixed product meta key _catoz_b2b_moq. Customers cannot add fewer than the minimum to the cart.
Minimum Order Requirements (store-wide)
Under Settings → Pricing → Minimum Order Requirements you can require a minimum order before checkout:
- Minimum order amount — a minimum cart subtotal (
ws_min_order_amount) - Minimum item count — a minimum total number of items in the cart
Customers who do not meet the requirement see a notice on the cart and checkout and cannot place the order. Set either value to 0 to disable that requirement.
Quick Order by SKU
Add the [catoz_b2b_quick_order] shortcode to any page so buyers can type product SKUs and quantities and add them all to the cart in one click. Control the number of starting rows with the rows attribute:
