Connection Test Fails
Check Consumer Key / Consumer Secret
In WooCommerce, go to Settings > Advanced > REST API and confirm the key has Read/Write permissions. Keys are shown in full only once — if you did not copy them, regenerate a new key.
Check WooCommerce URL
The URL in Caz Woo Store must exactly match your store’s primary domain, including protocol (https://). Do not add a trailing slash.
SSL Certificate
If your WooCommerce store has an invalid or self-signed SSL certificate, the connection will fail. ERPNext’s Python requests library verifies SSL by default.
Webhooks Not Firing
- Confirm your ERPNext URL is publicly accessible from WooCommerce’s servers
- Check WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > Webhooks for the installed webhooks — they should show “Active” status
- If webhooks show “Disabled” or have delivery failures, WooCommerce may have auto-disabled them after repeated failures. Delete and re-create them via the Test Connection button.
- The 15-minute polling fallback will catch missed events in the meantime
Orders Not Creating in ERPNext
- Confirm “Create Sales Orders from WooCommerce” is enabled on the Caz Woo Store
- Check the Caz Woo Sync Queue for a Failed order item — read the Error Message field
- Common errors: missing Company, Warehouse, or Income Account on the store record
- If the order contains a product that has no Item mapping, a placeholder item WOO-{id} is created automatically — check if this is succeeding
Stock Not Syncing to WooCommerce
- Confirm “Sync Stock to WooCommerce” is enabled on the Caz Woo Store
- Check that the Item has a Caz Woo Item Mapping for this store
- Check the Stock Sync Threshold — if set to 10 and your change was 5 units, it won’t sync
- Check the Caz Woo Sync Queue for any Failed inventory items
Duplicate Sales Orders
If the same order appears multiple times, the idempotency check may have failed. Check if the WooCommerce order ID appears more than once in the Caz Woo Order Mapping table. If so, manually delete the duplicate mapping and Sales Order, then re-process the webhook.
Sync Queue Stuck on “Processing”
If queue items show “Processing” for a long time, a background worker may have crashed mid-job. You can safely reset stuck items by changing their status back to “Queued” — the next scheduler run will re-attempt them.
