Action Types
When a rule hides a price, you choose what appears in its place. Hide Price Pro offers 6 action types:
1. Custom Text
Display any text message. Supports basic HTML for formatting. Common examples:
- “Login to see prices”
- “Contact us for wholesale pricing”
- “Price available on request”
- “Members only pricing”
2. Login Button
Shows a styled button that redirects visitors to the WordPress login page. After login, they’re redirected back to the product page. You can customize the button text and style.
3. Inquiry / Quote Form
Displays a “Request a Quote” button that opens an AJAX-powered modal form. Submissions are saved to the database and emailed to the admin. See the Inquiry Form article for setup details.
4. Redirect
Automatically redirects visitors to a URL of your choice when they try to view the product. Useful for sending guests to a registration or contact page.
5. Custom Button
Display a button with custom text and URL. Useful for linking to a contact form, registration page, or external quote system.
6. Hide Only (No Replacement)
Simply removes the price element with no replacement. The product description and images remain, but the price area is blank.
Customizing Appearance
All replacement elements inherit your theme’s styling by default. You can customize colors, fonts, and spacing via the plugin’s Settings > Styling tab, or add custom CSS in your theme.
