What is Catalog Mode?
Catalog Mode turns your WooCommerce store into a product showcase — prices and Add to Cart buttons are hidden from all visitors, turning your shop into a browse-only catalog.
Enabling Catalog Mode
- Go to WooCommerce > Hide Price Pro > Settings
- Enable Catalog Mode
- Choose what replaces prices: custom text, inquiry button, or nothing
- Choose what replaces the Add to Cart button
- Save settings
Catalog Mode vs. Rules
Catalog Mode is a global setting that overrides individual rules. When enabled, it applies to all products and all visitors. If you need selective price hiding (some products visible, some hidden), use individual rules instead of Catalog Mode.
Excluding Roles from Catalog Mode
You can exempt specific roles from Catalog Mode. For example, enable Catalog Mode for everyone but allow administrators and wholesale users to see prices.
