Requirements

• Frappe v15 or v16
• Python 3.10 or higher
• ERPNext is optional — the app works on any Frappe installation with workflows

Installation

Step 1: Get the App

SSH into your Frappe bench server and run:

bench get-app https://github.com/codeatozcom/erp_approval_reminder_manager

Step 2: Install on Your Site

bench --site your-site.com install-app approval_reminder_manager

Step 3: Migrate

bench --site your-site.com migrate

Step 4: Restart

bench restart

After Installation

After restart:

• A new Approval Reminder Manager workspace appears in your Frappe sidebar
• The Approval Reminder Settings singleton is created with defaults (send window 09:00–18:00, SLA threshold 7 days, log retention 90 days)
• A custom Approval Manager role is added to your system
• The daily scheduler task is registered and will run automatically

Roles

The app ships with one custom role: Approval Manager. Assign this role to users who should:

• Create and manage Approval Reminder Rules
• View the Reminder Log (including other users’ logs)
• Access SLA records and reports
• Trigger reminders manually via the API

Regular users can see only their own Reminder Log entries. System Managers have full access.
